Original mono print by M.E. Ster-Molnar. Each mono print is hand painted on to a silkscreen and printed on to archival 300 gsm paper. This artwork is framed in a white wooden frame.
This is an original mono print, meaning it is an entirely unique artwork as the image is only created once.
This artwork is inspired by California's super bloom. During a super bloom California's hillsides explodes with patches of vibrant orange, red and purple wildflowers so large they can be seen from space.
Though M.E.’s medium may have changed over the years her ethos hasn’t. The mono print process is impossible to entirely control, there will always be an element of chance. Rather than trying to ‘fix’ these chance creations M.E. allows the imperfections to take centre stage in her originals. She strives through her process to celebrate the beautiful flaws that make each of us and our world unique, whilst infusing a bit of sunshine into each and every one of them.
