The start of this year has certainly been a busy one for Sarah Ollerenshaw. The winter months were spent working away in her studio reminiscing on spring and summers colours and creating an impressive body of work for her solo exhibition on Baker Street which ran throughout April.
Beyond this Sarah Ollerenshaw was represented at the Affordable Art Fair in Battersea where she spent a lot of time on the stand meeting clients and discussing her works. This month she has participated in a group show at Aubergine in Wimbledon entitled ‘City - County - Sea’ which depicts just that. All the while creating fresh works for the upcoming Wimbledon Art Fair in May.
Despite a very busy calendar Sarah has painted five beautiful original paintings for Plus Arte. Each depicts a woodland scene and creates a feeling of peace in the viewer. Sarah’s paintings are full of life, hope and the promise of brighter days.
As I’m sure you can imagine, with the changing season Sarah’s attention is temporality diverted away from the studio and into the woods, where she searches for inspiration for her next painting. Most recently she’s been enjoying bluebell hunting in Hertfordshire with her family and border terrier.
